Pulled BBQ seitan in soft shell corn tacos served with a medley of refried beans with sweet corn, cumin, and red peppers.

Ingredients:

Seitan (33%) – wheat protein (gluten), soy, nutritional yeast, tomatoes, sunflower oil, peanuts, treacle sugar, garlic onion mixed herbs, rock salt.

Corn tacos (23%) – corn flour, corn, water.

BBQ sauce (5%) – peaches, molasses, tomatoes, rock salt, soy, balsamic vinegar.

Bean salad (39%) – red beans, butter beans, black beans, red peppers, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, xylitol, cumin, rock salt, white pepper, onions.

Heating instructions for your Vegan Pulled Seitan Chicken Tacos:

Defrost thoroughly before use.

  • Remove the cardboard sleeve. DO NOT PIERCE FILM. Place on a microwavable plate in the center of the microwave, at least 1cm away from the sides of the door.
  • After defrosting microwave on 100% power for 2 minutes 30 seconds, alternatively from frozen microwave on 100% power for 4 minutes 30 seconds. The film will rise creating a steam environment and the film may pop, all of which is normal.
  • Use caution when peeling back the film as steam will escape.
  • Check that food is hot throughout, if not, heat for a further brief period.

As microwaves ovens may vary, these timings are a guide only and are based on an 850-1100-watt oven.
